SST presented at AISTech, Nashville (USA) - 2025, May 5 to 8

This year, SST was proud to once again showcase its latest innovations and technological advancements at AISTech 2025. As part of its continued commitment to driving progress in the steel industry, SST delivered a presentation titled "Enhanced MILP-Based Scheduling for Adaptive Steel Production at Big River Steel."

The presentation highlighted the successful deployment of SST’s Short-Term Scheduler at Big River Steel’s (BRS) state-of-the-art CSP plant. It focused on how the scheduler's MILP-based (Mixed-Integer Linear Programming) algorithms improve production flexibility, responsiveness, and overall efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The session was delivered in close collaboration with Big River Steel and their representative Jason Oness, who shared firsthand experiences. This joint presentation underscored the strong partnership between SST and BRS, and demonstrated the tangible benefits of innovative scheduling solutions in modern steelmaking.
