Berlin, August, 2026 — Smart Steel Technologies, today announced its successful completion of its ISO/IEC 27001 certification as of 27.07.2026 and includes the following scopes:
· The Information Security Management System (ISMS), in accordance with ISO/IEC27001:2022, supporting the confidentiality, integrity and availability ofcustomer data, supplier information, and Smart Steel's internal data related tothe process control software for steel and non-ferrous metals production.
· Locations: Berlin, Germany and Cincinnati, Ohio, US.
The ISO/IEC 27001certification was conducted by leading compliance assessor A-LIGN. A-LIGN is an ISO/IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI NationalAccreditation Board (ANAB) and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) toperform ISMS certifications.
ISO/IEC 27001 is an informationsecurity management system standard published in October 2022 by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the InternationalElectrotechnical Commission (IEC).
